When it comes to February, most of us think of Valentine’s Day and love. At Bickford of Wabash, we love our residents. We know you love them, too

Unfortunately, we also think of colds and flu. February is a peak part of cold and flu season, so we’d like to remind you of ways you can minimize the chance of getting either. And, of course, these go for minimizing your chances of getting COVID-19 as well.

  • Wash your hands a lot and avoid touching your face. Use hand sanitizer if you can’t wash.
  • Avoid people who are already sick.
  • Keep your surroundings clean. Sanitize doorknobs, remote controls, and light switches often.
  • Lead a healthy lifestyle. Eat right. Drink lots of water. Get plenty of rest.

Already sick? Rest. Drink plenty of fluids. Most importantly, stay home. As much as we enjoy seeing you, please wait to visit until you’re healthy.

                                                        Have a healthy February!
