Outstanding October

Copy/Image 1a

It's difficult to think of October without thinking about Halloween. The word Halloween comes from "hallowed evening." It's believed that many of our Halloween traditions come from Gaelic harvest festivals. Traditional Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, costume parties, carving pumpkins into jacko'-lanterns, lighting bonfires, bobbing for apples, playing pranks, and telling scary stories.

At Bickford of Wabash we will be inviting children from the

community to trick-or-treat with us. We are also planning a Halloween party in the afternoon. Many of the Bickford Family Members will dress up. We'll have fun treats. We may even tell a scary story or two. We hope you will make plans to join us. The more the merrier.

Of course, you know you are always welcome to visit us at Bickford of Wabash. We enjoy seeing you whether you arrive in costume or not.

Happy Halloween!

In August we celebrated Hollywood Day. You can see some of our stars below. In September we celebrated National Assisted Living Week by, among other things, creating a Bickford yearbook. We had a lot of fun.
