Super September

Copy/Image 1a

September brings us cooler weather, turning leaves, and National Assisted Living Week. According to the National Center for Assisted Living, National Assisted Living Week provides a unique opportunity for residents, their loved ones, staff, volunteers, and the surrounding communities to recognize the role of assisted living in caring for America’s seniors and individuals with disabilities. The annual observance encourages assisted living communities around the country

to offer a variety of events and activities to celebrate the individuals they serve, as well as to help educate members of the public about this distinctive aspect of long term care.

Here at Bickford of Wabash, we're celebrating a year with Michelle Hutchinson at the helm. After lots of study and tests, Michelle is a licensed director. We look forward to years under Michelle's capable leadership.

Have a super September!

Just for Fun

Copy/Image 3a

We are proud to announce that we have three Black Pearls this year.

Nominated and selected yearly by their fellow Bickford Family Members, Black Pearls consistently communicate our Lifegiving culture.  They are a true reflection of

all that we are, all that we do, and all that we wish to become.

Our 2018 Black Pearls are Julie Adkins, Janie O'Dell, and Pam Simmons. All three truly exemplify the qualities we strive to show.

Congratulations, ladies.

To be happy with a man, you must understand him a lot and love him a little. To be happy with a woman, you must love her a lot and not try to understand her at all.

--------------------------

Never ask a woman who is eating ice cream straight from the carton how she's doing.

--------------------------

If 4 out of 5 people SUFFER from diarrhea... does that mean that one enjoys it?

Copy/Image 3d

Why are frogs so happy? They eat whatever bugs them!

--------------------------

People say money is not the key to happiness, but I always figured if you had enough money, you can have a key made.

--------------------------

Some cause happiness wherever they go. Others whenever they go.

--------------------------

Money can't buy happiness, but it can help you look for it quicker, in a convertible.
