Today we took a little trip over to the Animal Rescue League! We saw all sorts of dogs and even more cats! They all are up for adoption to their forever homes! Howie then took us around the Riverview Cemetery to see the geese and swans! If you peak closely a Canadian goose has made her nest in the planter. This is her 3rd year in a row! This afternoon we were joined by Chaplain Larry! He had us praising the lord and raising our voices up in celebration!

HOWIE took us over to Walmart for some shopping yesterday morning! Phyllis and I had a great time shopping for us and a few friends back at home! Later that afternoon we had our Monday afternoon Bingo session! Donna had a special guest show up to play along side her! Everyone won at least once! What a day!

Happy Tuesday! We started our day off by getting our blood pumping with some chair exercises! The workout helps build strength and improve mobility. After lunch Chaplain Cindy stopped by and had quite the group gathered to worship. We ended the afternoon by making some stunning jewelry! Connie and Phyllis were thrilled to have created such beautiful pieces!

Today we got our hearts pumping with some seated exercises! We had a pretty big group joining us today! After lunch the ladies gathered for some fresh polish and listened to some classic 60s rock and rill!

Monday we had a competitive game of Connect 4 between Marlene and Karen! During bingo Louise couldn't be stopped! She won the first two games twice and got in on winning a blackout as well!

Today we started the day off with great music by John Schumacher! He played some classic hits and some great country! After lunch Chaplain Cindy lead us in Bible Study and songs! What a bright spot on a gloomy day!

I appreciate how the staff is so attentive to our mom (and other residents). When we ask questions- they are familiar with how she has been feeling & what activities she is involved with. (name removed) are good with answering questions & returning calls or texts. We are very thankful for EVERYONE at Bickford.

I thank all the care givers, kitchen staff- everyone-at Bickford for taking such good care of (name removed). She is thriving & enjoying her golden years. We are thankful for ALL of you!!
