We had a GREAT turnout at our blood drive yesterday! With the help of Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center, we had over 13 members of our community show up to donate blood. We had a GREAT turnout at our blood drive yesterday! With the help of Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center, we had over 13 members of our community show up to donate blood. And thanks to our local HyVee, all of our participants received a pint of Whitey's ice cream for our Give a Pint, Get a Pint theme!
Over 38% of the US population can donate blood, but only about 5% actually do. It's a great way to help members in your community, and all across the country!

On Thursday, March 28th from 3:00PM - 6:00PM Bickford Senior Living of Muscatine will be hosting a blood drive with the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center. More than 30% of the U.S. population is eligible to give blood, but less than 5% actually do! More than 4.5 million people will require a blood transfusion this year, so please consider donating!
