Bickford of Lafayette

Pet Therapy came to Bickford! Everybody enjoyed the Pet Therapy group that came to visit with us on Saturday! We are so happy they came and this will be the beginning of many more visits by "Beau", a Dalmatian! He was great with everyone and we really enjoyed him being here.....see the photos as proof!

Everybody enjoyed themselves so much yesterday at the "Tea to Remember" hosted by Great Lakes Caring. Meile Palmer provided music for all of us and added so much to our day! Thank you Meile! The "TEA" sets were beautiful and so much fun to look at and see where they all came from....we had them from London, England, China, Japan, Italy and good ol USA! Residents enjoyed the cake and tea before partaking in the musical events for the afternoon....singing and dancing was enjoyed by all.....thank you Great Lakes Caring for making such a memory for all of us!

We were so excited to have the Crestview Pre-School 4 and 5 year olds entertain and visit with us. The children sang numerous songs with great arm motions that our residents loved. This is an annual event and I so enjoyed visiting with Suzi Senesac the Director of Crestview Pre-School who has been there for 31 years. We love to have intergenerational events and would love to host more of them-contact us to do so.

Congratulations to Bickford of Lafayette's, Sherri Paige for being nominated as a 2012 Bickford Family Member (employee) of the Year! In addition to only three other Bickford Family Members, Sherri was chosen for exemplifying Bickford’s Performing Culture and has been employed with Bickford as a Family Member for twelve months.
